One of many aspects of a Walt Disney World Vacation is of course the food!
This Week I will highlight my favorite picks for Table Service Dining in the Parks. Each Day I will highlight a different park! I will not highlight any restaurants in Animal Kingdom because I have never had any Table Service meals in Animal Kingdom. The reason for this is because none of the restaurants appeal to me or my family.
Today, I will talk about my favorite picks for Table Service dining in the Magic Kingdom!
1.Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
Location: Town Square (hence the name!), right inside the park
Theme: Lady and the Tramp
My Thoughts: This restaurant serves my favorite kind of food, which is italian! It has a really friendly menu, so it’s great for picky eaters. It has all the classics, like Chicken Parm, spaghetti and meatballs, and cesar salad. The coolest thing about this restaurant is the theming! When entering the main dining room, you are greeted with a beautiful Lady and the Tramp themed fountain! Also, you can even spot Lady and the Tramp sharing a meal if you look out one of the back windows!
2. Cinderella’s Royal Table
Location: Cinderella Castle
Theme: Prince and Princess
My Thoughts: Cinderella’s Royal table is a really fun experience. I have had breakfast and dinner there. Both are character experiences. You get a private photo op with Cinderella and sometimes Prince Charming. Characters include all the princesses as well as the fairy godmother. Some reservation times are during the fireworks. I don’t reccommend planning to watch the fireworks from inside the castle because you can only see them if you have 1 of 3 or 4 tables by the windows. The menu features a generic choice of chicken, steak, pork, fish, or pasta. None of the choices are too exciting but they serve the purpose. After the meal, you receive a magic wand souvenir.
3. Be Our Guest Restaurant
Location: New Fantasyland
Theme: Beauty and the Beast
My Thoughts: This restaurant is unlike any other in the whole park! The theming is amazing, the decor is one of a kind, and the food is great, if your not picky. I am a picky eater and was not a huge fan of the selection of food but the atmosphere definitely made up for that! There are 3 rooms in Beast’s castle. The main ballroom is the most amazing of the 3. When entering this restaurant, you really truly feel as if you have entered the movie! Pictures can do this restaurant no justice. Unlike the other restaurants I mentioned, this restaurant does table service for only dinner, lunch and breakfast are quick service. Also, this is the only place to get beer or wine in the Magic Kingdom! At the end of dinner, each guest gets a special photo op with the Beast, which is a rare occasion. Oh and try the gray stuff, it’s delicious!
